Level 7 University module (20 credits): Advanced wound healing including selective sharp debridement 2026
In partnership with Leeds Beckett School of Health and covering critical examination of the evidence base for wound management
Virtual – 9.30am – 4pm, one day a week March – April, 2026
Masterclass: Skin conditions, unusual aetiologies and care of the lower limb
Knowing how to recognise common skin conditions will aid the practitioner in making accurate and targeted treatment decisions including choice of topical preparations. It will enable informed discussion within the multidisciplinary team and assist in recognising when referral to a medical practitioner is required – a 4 hour course 9.30am – 1.30pm

Introduction to teaching and learning for HCPs
Developing professional competence and confidence in healthcare professionals – a 2-day on-line course 9.30am – 4pm – both days must be attended

Sharp debridement in wound management
Develop and enhance theoretical and practical knowledge when managing complex, hard to heal wounds that require sharp debridement. A 2-day on-line course 9.30am – 4pm – both days must be attended.

A competency based training programme aimed at those who manage patients with lower limb wounds. A 3 day course – all days must be completed.

Advanced Practice in Lower Limb Ulceration
Aimed at those who manage patients with lower limb wounds. Participants must already be competent in the application of compression bandaging. Both days of the on-line course 9.30am – 4pm must be completed and there is an additional optional 1-2-1 coaching session.
