We want as many people as possible to benefit from our expertise in chronic wounds, lymphoedema and mobility. Not just through treatment but through prevention and by giving people the tools they need to take charge of their own health. Nowhere is this beginning to become more of a reality than in our own North East London area.

Reaching people in London and beyond

We have held service delivery contracts in both Tower Hamlets and City and Hackney for a number of years. Our reach and reputation is now extending across the complete footprint of East London include Barking, Havering and Redbridge, Newham and Waltham Forest. Through these and future contracts  we deliver lower limb management with a focus on:

  • chronic wounds
  • swelling and leaky legs
  • lymphoedema
  • dressing optimisation
  • hosiery

Reaching the hardest-to-treat chronic wounds and lymphoedema cases

Our Centre of Excellence and Innovation at St Josephs is based in Hackney but attracts patients from far and wide. It caters for those people who have lived with complex non-healing wounds for many years as well as people who need to learn to manage their challenging lymphoedema condition.

Through the Centre, we currently see patients from 30 CCGs reaching across London and surrounding areas. Occasionally people will travel from as far away as the Midlands and the North to access the skill of our clinicians and the chance to significantly improve their quality of life.
