Who should attend?

This is a competency based 3-day training programme aimed at those who manage patients with lower limb wounds. Participants must already be competent in the application of compression bandaging.

Learning outcomes

  • Build on your existing skills of lower limb assessment and further enhance your practice in the management of the foot and toes. This will include toe brachial pressure index measurement, toe bandaging and stumping.

  • Learn more about chronic oedema and heart failure to support decision making and treatment planning of patients who require compression therapy and have a diagnosis of heart failure.

  • Enhance your clinical practice through learning about the use of medications in lower limb care such as antimicrobials and topical steroids.
