Overview
This practical online workshop equips registered health care practitioners with the skills and confidence to deliver safe, effective remote wound care assessments.
Participants will learn theory of how to apply structured consultation models, adapt communication techniques for telephone and video reviews, and conduct holistic assessments that recognise red flags despite limited visual cues.
The session strengthens clinical reasoning in remote contexts, supports robust documentation and escalation, and explores the ethical and professional considerations unique to virtual wound care practice.
By the end, practitioners will be able to deliver accountable, person centred remote assessments that enhance continuity and quality of care.

The Masterclass is suitable for registered health care practitioners.
How the course is run
The live sessions are held using the MS Teams virtual learning environment (VLE) with informative webinars, discussion, and Q & A sessions. You will need to have access to a laptop, tablet or computer with video and sound capability.
We use the chat facility in MS Teams, break out rooms and polling features of the VLE during the course to make the sessions interactive and we would ask you to participate as if in a face-to-face situation. We have an Academy Moderator who can support you in digitally preparing for the course should you need assistance.
