Ana is a specialist in lymphoedema and believes that it’s about long-term investment in one’s health not about treating a symptom. Her kind, non-biased and sincere approach, coupled with a little humour, accompanies her interest to find a solution to manage symptoms collaboratively with her patients.

Her aim is that her patients and be turned around to feel hopeful and informed about their condition and treatment options.

Julie Chuter

Lymphoedema Specialist Nurse

Julie is a specialist in lymphodema and loves to help her patients understand their condition and get the support they need.

Julie wants her patients to feel listened to and supported, as well as motivated to work with her in developing a plan of care to manage their condition and change their lives.

Rhodri Harris

Advanced Lymphoedema and Lipoedema Specialist Nurse

Rhodri is an experienced lymphoedema practitioner with a very particular interest in lipoedema – he’s passionate about increasing awareness of this complex and misunderstood condition.

Rhodri’s aim is to listen and help his patients take control of their condition, be it lymphoedema or lipoedema, so they feel reassured and empowered to manage and live with their condition.

Lymphoedema Specialist Therapist

Wendy diagnoses lymphoedema and creates personalised treatment plans with her patients. Her care includes compression therapy, education, and practical tools to help people manage their condition. Wendy’s aim is to empower people with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their lymphoedema.

Anna Swinburn

Advanced Lymphoedema Specialist Nurse

Anna works with people who have complex or long-standing lymphoedema, helping them find compression options and management strategies that work for their life.

Her sessions start with listening – understanding what matters to each person and setting realistic goals. Anna wants every patient to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about what comes next.

Fran Campbell

Lead Podiatrist & BIomechanics Specialist

Fran leads on podiatry and biomechanics at Accelerate. She supports people whose movement or musculoskeletal issues are affecting their swelling or wound healing. Fran brings a holistic, expert approach to treatment and loves helping patients feel confident and clear about their care plan.

Jane Hampson

Lower Limb Specialist Nurse

Jane assesses, diagnoses and treats lower limb conditions such as venous ulcers and lymphoedema.

With over 10 years’ nursing experience — including A&E, community care and leg ulcer services — she brings deep expertise and a calm, reassuring presence. Jane works closely with each patient to create a treatment plan that fits their life.

Kay Butcher

Wound Care Specialist Nurse

Kay specialises in treating wounds linked to lower limb lymphoedema and lipoedema. She focuses on healing, preventing infections, and creating personalised plans to stop wounds from coming back.

Patients can expect an empathetic, thoughtful approach and care tailored to their needs. Her aim is for people to feel they’ve had quality treatment that really makes a difference.

Gabriela is an expert in wound care and leads Accelerate’s wound team. She supports people with complex needs, creating clear care plans that carers and community teams can follow confidently.
